Where can I find a list of the commands and programmign practices for my graphic lcd. Also is there somewhere I can learn about graphic programming? I program in java.

turns out that the java.comm extension installation instructions are not right. I've figured it out now. For future reference you have to copy the comm.jar file to lib\ext aswell

I am trying to start a development project with Java. The problem is that given the code you've supplied, I am unable to connect to the com2 port. My app throws an exception becuase no such port exists. Anyone have a clue? Thanks

ok... well I get these errors all the time. But most of the time the screen still works. I am trying to use LCDC with this graphics module, so I need to upload the LCDC GLK suppliment fonts. The fonts on the LCDC website do not come with MGF files, so in order to upload them then you have to use LCD...

nope... tx and rx are on the right ones, and ground is hooked up. It does eventually get through the downlaod but with about 3 to 7 errors. My com port is set to 19200 and I've done the manual override several times

I run a glk12322. I just have a serial cable that I modified hooked up. I get that message when using modg but I also am not able to use anything that I upload from LCDG-mmm

I am getting an error message that says "Warning! the module did not reutrn the correct character. Do you want to continue?" . I am getting this error about 3 to 7 times per upload (fonts or Graphics).

I am trying to upload the GLK suppliments but I don't know how. I've downloaded them, and I ahve Modg but how do I get them from my computer onto the screen. When I go to upload fonts I don't see them listed

I just got my screen back from Matrix Orbital. When it powers up the firts pic comes on no prob. As soon as I start MODG the screen writes a small wierd characters over the pic in the top left corner. I've only had my glk 12322-wbl a couple of weeks and its not working anymore. The back light comes on but it doesn't do display anymore. I have tried the reset thing, but it doens't make any difference.

could you tell me more about adding a transistor? what kind?

So... what do you guys think about this. Is there any other info that you need? This could be completely wrong for all I know. Please let me know.
