hmm,, thech to make sure that in your device manager that the com port youre hooking up to is set to 19200. i assume you have it plugged into 5v power as well else it wont function. also, there are only 3 pins on the serial cable used for communication. pin 5 is ground,, and i believe pins 2 and 3 are the transmit and receive. i had to swap those 2 pins to make mine communicate at all. i wasnt even getting an error message. But instead nothing saw the display or would use it.

nope... tx and rx are on the right ones, and ground is hooked up. It does eventually get through the downlaod but with about 3 to 7 errors. My com port is set to 19200 and I've done the manual override several times

Well only other thing i can think of is make sure the Com port is set to 8, none, and 1, and try turning flow control off. or set to None, depending on your version of windows. The flow control may be whats causing the errors. since it is eventually getting done. is your model the SM or the WBL? if its the SM i might be interested in buying it from you if you cant get it working right. but,,, if you cant get it working 100% i'm sure you could sennd it back to MO, they are excellent about exchanging for whatever you want. Of equal or lesser value i'm sure. heh.

ok... well I get these errors all the time. But most of the time the screen still works. I am trying to use LCDC with this graphics module, so I need to upload the LCDC GLK suppliment fonts. The fonts on the LCDC website do not come with MGF files, so in order to upload them then you have to use LCDC software called "LCDG". Unfortunately no mater what I do to upload from lcdg the fonts don't work. Is there anyway to upload the supplimetn fonts from MODG? if so how?

I used LCDG, the person you might want to ask about alternative ways is Mat-d-rat.
