bought the glk12232-25wbl hooked it up and power on got the startup screen fine but cant seem to get any programs to work i installed lcd driver is this why after doing a bit of reading i see that may have been a mistake any help from henry or people with the same model what did u do from out of the box state and on thanx
First of all, try mogd.exe (available in the downloads section of http://www.matrix-orbital.com) and see if you can communicate with it. If you can display text, draw pictures, etc., please tell us! I'm actually working on programs specific to the graphic LCD, so any new and unique programs I happen to put together will be posted here
actually i cant do anything with it it looks like it is trying to comminuacate the light dims and then brightens but nothen happens ver odd trying it on second pc in am see if same results
If you got a rs232 interface plate with black/orange/green wires on it check the order is Green Organe Black as mine was wrong - but thankfully Cheeseman pointed it out and I had it all working minutes later...

Yep... and the display dimming sounds exactly like the symptom of having the green and orange wires being the wrong way round in the 4BR cable. Careful though, if they are the wrong way round pop them out (by poking the copper contact at the side of each hole and pulling and then swap them round. Do nt be tempted to put the 4BR cable in the wrong way round (as this will earth the 5V line).
