Henry, where would one (One being me) get these parts? My site's staff and I are working on a project involing an LCD and computer in a car, and wireless might be a LOT easier then hauling the car to one of the staffs shop and having him wire it ;)

Where would I get info and parts on bluetooth ...

I'm going to look for a version of the Palm Desktop that will work with a USB connection, and if I can't do that, I'll try to figure out what chip it carries... BTW, it's made by Palm (Well, its the official Palm-stamped one ...

There will be a small driver that the USB->Serial dongle uses to make windoze think there's a COM3 (or COM4, 5, 6, whatever). Once that is in place, just point LCDC at the right COM port. I lost the CD that it came on about 2 years ago :\ Any idea where I can pick up the drivers online? I'll check ...

can i use a serial to usb cable to hook up the vfd?? I have the same question.. Okay, I just downloaded it, and attempted to install it...

I still can't get it to import the file.. I cleared my CLASSPATH when I installed (I used command prompt, and messed up the command :-\) so maybe I'm missing something that is needed...

BTW, I'm on AIM/ICQ/MSN/Y! right now, so message me ...

I saw the Java sample on the MO download page, and I would like to know how to install javax.comm :) I am just getting in to Java (Taking High School & College classes :)) and so it would be really cool to learn to write my own app for my LCD in Java...
