Post by sn_85 »

does it depend on the program or the LCD to support text scrolling? thanks in advance.

haha, engineer humor.

The displays can all do it. The VFDs do it noticeably more quickly, the scrolling is much more crisp. But it's also critical to use software that has a fine enough internal timer to get somooth scrolling. Visual Basic tends to suck at that, so VB apps make for crummy scrolling.

LCDC can do excellent looking scrolling (25 fps) on all MO displays, and on the VFDs it looks even more excellent.
