How come my VFD 4x20 Black with double 5 1/4 inch bays didnt

well i know i am using all the wrong names and numbers, but it is pretty explanitory, how come mine donst come with the altered backing to it for the serial connection?

In the post you were talking about a BVK202A-4BR-BK, not a BVF2041-BK...
