LCD0821 backlight led brighntess drop?

Hi, something strange happended with my LCD0821 display. When sending serial data from pic the led brightness suddenly dropped quite a bit. I can control the contrast normally and everything else works fine, it's just very dim. I measured the voltage between the backlight led anode and cathode and it gives 1.22 volts, is this ok? Any ideas what may have happened? I may have touched something on the circuit but since everytthing else works.... or should I just get my eyes examined The rest of the world seems as bright as before though....

Can you please tell me the PCB Rev of your display (it should be on the back of the display). Also, if you can please tell me the serial number of the display.

The PCB is R2.0 and the serial 06M08-3887.
