MBM5

Post by als54 »

I'm having problems with MBM5 and my motherboard, an Asrock 775 Dual-VSTA. The board isn't listed in MBM5's wizard. Can someone tell me what would be the closest match to it? I tried matching it to the closest sensors. I'm curious since MBM5 isn't being kept current is there another application that can be used? Thanks in advance.

Use Speedfan, it's just been updated for Vista x64 (with a driver signature!) And it has lots of profiles. Most of the time you don't have to configure it, it can find your sensors on it's own.

The Vista 64 compatible version is on the beta page.

It also has a plugin for LCDC that works great for me.

And actually MBM5 has had an update for some of the newer boards.
Core Temperature readings have been added to the program.
See FreeCableGuy's blog at The Tech Repository http://www.thetechrepository.com/showthread.php?t=74

Also updated info on the Custom Configuration file for DFI LanParty boards which can also display GPU Temps and clock speeds can be found at DIY-Street

try everest EVE plugin everest is about the best program for pc information it tells you everything I mean just about everything. the EVE plugin is pretty extensive and everest itself has support for all motherboards as far as i know you can try a demo but I dont know if it works with the eve plugin. I have the full version.

I am finally going to bust out my 5 or 6 40x4 matrix orbital displays i have collected 2 years ago and now that I am in to overclocking I can output tons and tons of everest data and have room for it all. I plan on putting at least 4 40x4 on one sidepanel for my overclocking rig should be very usefull. I think I will have to get a serial card for the inside to run them all.

LOL in the dark it will look like a nuclear submarine readout panel which is where I got the displays from someone on ebay that was a slavage person and they came from the navy!
