MX2 GPO's 1,2 & 3

I want to drive relays from the MX2 GPO's 1,2 & 3 (using the low power option). The relay coil is 500R so will only take 10ma. How do I connect. On initial evaluation the output appears to be an open collector pulling up to +5v so I connected between O/P and GND but it just pulled the +5v down to 0.06v.
