GLK12232-25SM I2C

Post by vuapache »

I'm trying to switch the LCD (it's version 1.2) to I2C communications, but there is a problem in the pdf documentation. The images which show the required changes are missing from the pdf. Is there some other place to get these images or could someone explain to me the changes necessary?

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

I apologize for the missing picture on the pdf documentation. The necessary changes are shown below. You must remove all the solder jumpers shown in the places labeled 1, and solder the jumpers labeled 3 in the picture below.

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post them.

Best Regards,

PDF "three changes"

Post by vuapache »

Thanks for the quick reply!

The pdf says there are three changes to be made. Does anything have to be done with the part highlighted as #2?

I just want to make sure I don't run into unnecessary problems.

Thanks!

SCL/SDA Line

Post by vuapache »

I see that it uses the same pins, but the documentation doesn't seem to mention which pin should be SCL and which is SDA.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that there is a solder jumper shown below the 2 label on revision 1.2. You must also remove that jumper. The picture indicates the locations of SDA and SCL.
