Black Screen ( not in stand by )

Heya,

this morning, when i turned on my LCD, it showed the picture for 2 seconds, then the screen went completely black, not a trace of light ( and the monitor didn't go into standby mode ). It does this every time i turn it on now.

What could be wrong ?

Hi Tom,

i can't tell you, because i took it to a repair shop. I'm waiting for them to get back to me. When i asked some repair shop, the guy said it might be the backlight ?
