I'm having a problem with LCDC casing the prgram to stop wrtiting to the MX212 device.
there is a thread discussion started on LCDC forum here
it was posted that
Contrary to belief the "WriteFile" error is not plugin or core. It is actually a failure from LCDC to write to the COM port (USB port is a virtual com port). This is therefore a hardware issue of some sort, possibly the cable getting interference or something. Check your cable routing (make sure it's not too close to a HD for example).
my usb cable being internal makes it very had for me to route it far from my hardrive although at present it is 5"-6" away from it .. also 2 empty 5-1/4" drive bays seperating my HD from the MX212. Any information would be helpfull.
Thanks

When LCDC tries to establish communication with our USB device and communication cannot be established, than a write error can occurr. This could imply a hardware problem, but not likely an interference problem with an external USB cable. The external A to B cables are shieled as well we include a ferrite bead on the PCB to enhance the protection against EMI. As long as your under the recommended 6' cable length, this will not be an issue. Are you using an external or internal cable...? If you are using an internal cable, try using an external as the internal cable is not shielded in the same manner...If this works then you may want to check your connections...
