help please - winXP not detecting Matrix Orbital

The unit was working fine until I reinstalled XP after crash.
Now XP can't detect the hardware
Using a MX212 (LK202-24-USB rev 1.0) connected using external USB cable
please help - thanks

*update*
I tested a friends MO on my system and it was detected by XP without any problems. He has the same MO model as me.
Therefore there must be something up with my actual unit
I get the Matrix Orbital MX-212 screen when plugged in but as I say XP won't detect it.
Please advise - thanks

Hello...
What is the device listed as in your device manager? Is there a yellow exclamation mark next to the listed device??

hi
It does not show up in device manager.
When i plugged in my m8's it showed up ok.

Not even in the Universal Serial Bus controllers section...???
