I have had my MX221 up and running for a couple days, have some custom screens running, all very nifty-except for two things:
1.) I have tried entering the "chr$ (254 64[startup text here])" command, but I only get it shown in my sequence of text, I'm not sure if its changed the default startup screen.
2.) when I power down my PC, the MX221 is stil "on." Hard to miss it, backlight still on, showing last data it received. Perhaps my Motherboard waiting for USB device to wake it is the problem?

Hello...

Probably the easiest way to do this is with the bootlogo.exe software that is included with your eCD... :)

sorry, I did read some posts mentioning that program, but after a number of searches on the CD for boot*, logo*, all exe proggys, and the like, I feel strongly that I don't have any program called bootlogo.exe on the CD nor in the LCDC dl package.

Where else should I be looking?
