Thanks for the earlier help with connecting.. i've figured out fraps/winamp and everything looks great... but when i start the computer.. my power on screen appears VERY dim.. u can only see it when inches away from the LCD... how can i rectify this situation??? Thanks again in advance!
p.s. i tried turning the backlight down and the startup screen text was still extremely dim.. i dont understand this because when LCDC starts on startup of windows.. the display looks great.... i have faith in your skills miles
i already messed with the contrast so it looks perfect when LCDC is running normally.. i ran the bootlogo program that came on the cd... could that have anything to do with it??? i deleted the file that i created with that and just changed the power on screen with LCDC.... i dont know.. i'm lost
When LCDC starts up, it sets a default contrast setting. You may have to adjust your contrast llevel accordingly and save it. When LCDC loads after the contrast setting has been saved, the contrast will be correct.

Hi Select50, sounds like everything is working fine in LCDC. Therefore you need to run the "Bootloader" application to set the default power on values for yor screen, which also includes the backlight intensity/Contrast settings which sound wrong.
ok.. this bootloader app you're talking about.. is that on the cd that came with it??? all i got is the bootscreen app.. which is very simple and i cannot find any contrast settings in... im beginning to think i'm just retarded
