Built in LEDS in case and GPOS

My new MX211 will be arriving any day now. I have an Antec SX1040BII case that has four build in LEDS. 1 power, 1 HD and two extra. Can I plug in the extras into the low power GPOs and use them like the Indicator Bus?

Hello...

This will be perfectly acceptable. Since the low powered GPO's have current limiting resistor already installed, you would just connect your cable accordingly!!

Is there any documanetation somewhere that lists what the output to the MX 212 are? as well as what the voltage/current specification are to the low power GPOs & fan headers. also how often the temperature inputs get updated. Using LCDC, 90% of the time my temperature probles list 'NYC'
when i recieved my MX-212 i recieved no documentation wih it. is there a PDF doc that shows the layout of the board.

On the cd you got with the LCD there is a manuals section, as well on our website there is a manuals section.

Nicely got the driver when I posted a question in this thread.
Can you post me the link as to where all the documentation I was suppose to get for the MX 212. I purchansed it from cooltechnica.com and they were very nice and got me the serail # i needed for LCDC right away... but they have no spare CD's.. I don't need a physical CD.. just the data...

The reason for my concern is that when I hook up my 120 MM fan to the fan header, I get 1030 RPM. If I plug it into the fan header on my motherboard I get 2150RPM...
So out of curiosity i decided to hook a voltmeter to the fan outputs and I only get 5volts out... shouldn't I get 12?
I do have the floppy drive power connector plugged in.. and have the jumper beside the floppy connector moved as well from reading http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1465...(only way i could get the fans to power up)
I have also read http://www.procooling.com/reviews/html/matrix_orbital_mx212_vs_crysta1.php and do I have to connect the solder pads together mentioned 3/4 of the page down? would that void my waranty?

my last problem I'm having..(your thinking, man this guy has a lot of problems!!)... is with the temperature probes... the problem was identified in lcdc forum thread
but that is the smallest of my problems and will worry about that last.

The most important thing that was on the eCD is how to register LCDC, installing the USB driver and of course the manual. The first two things you have accomplished. The following link is a complete manual for the the MX212: http://www.matrixorbital.com/manuals/LK ... USB_02.pdf

Please ensure that the jumper is in the appropriate location (section 2.2.2 in the manual). If you have an unmodified floppy power connector attached, you should be receiving 12 Volts at the connector.

Be advised that the temperature sensors are by no means waterproof...

Thanks for the info.
it solved my problems with getting my fans up to the right speeds
I will assume the thermal probe i had in water to be dead

if you could find a way to waterproof it. I think that would make a lot of peole happy.. but i will leave that to a different thread.
