Anyone from the uk buy from Matrix Orbital directly?

Post by skotbites »

Just wondering what kind of charges were incurred from customs for buying direct from the USa and importing to the UK as the prices in the UK are much higher.

Thanks

I have a similar question for Belgium (I have found one reseller
that has the MX2 for 110 Euro here, excluding 21% VAT and shipping).

Also, if you have special demands (e.g. presence of 1-wire Dallas, a
certain board revision, latest firmware), how good can a local retailler
deal with this?

I thinking of ordering directly, just to be sure I have the right one for
me :-)
I haven't had bad experiences with overseas shipping (in order purchases):
only had to pay quite some import tax on a PC Power and Cooling PSU, but
I couldn't find it over here :-) (so I had no choice).

Sorry to say those prices are promo only at the mo as we picked up a load of stock from a company which was closing down... once those have run out we'll be back up to just-under the UK average price for em...
