I just received a matrix orbital display. I was eager to get started, but when i hooked it up i noticed that it seems to work fine except for the entire first row. The last line of pixels on the first row seems to mimick the row right above it. (eg. if the pixel above is on then that pixel is on too.) Is this something i'm doing wrong or is there something wrong with my display i should be concerned about? Has anyone seen this before? Perhaps i should contact MO.
Oh sure I can. The display responds very well. The more and more i look at it, it seems to be just a damaged row of pixels in the display. Perhaps something was shaken loose in shipping or it was just never noticed at the factory. When i do adjust the contrast to something that makes the display readable, it just makes the faulty line more noticable. Theres no doubt anymore that the display has some minor defect. The question now really is... what course of action should i take? Who do i communicate with to get this fixed? Anyone been in this position?
