Need Help finding a LCD for a specific purpose.
Im modding out a case, i got 2 5.25 slots open, im looking to get an LCD to fit that spot. i looked at C**********z but it seems the only ones that are made to fit in the case arent graphical... i want to display statistical info temperature etc but i also have one very important (to me) modification... it needs to be able to display a graphic of the matrix code falling... just like the screens in the movie i wanna be able to push a button/switch or turn it on in the software to start dropping code on the front of the case...
its very important that it fit in the space of 2 5.25 screens, and that i dont have to physically cut anything to make it fit, i dont feel like it.... i just want to buy it and install it...
oh it also needs to be black background with green lettering
bonus points if you can point me to the software to do this, or anyone else that has done the same...

I don't think Matrix Orbital do any black background, green text graphic LCDs. I suppose you could always get a GLC24064 and manually invert it by replacing the polarising sheet...
However, I advise you to go for a VFD. They're green text on black, and look great (I have one). Matrix Orbital only do text only ones, but you should still be able to do a pretty convincing matrix code effect. There are 8 slots for custom designed characters, so you could draw the symbols in those spaces.
If that's acceptable for you, the BVF2041 seems ideal.

ive purchased a 5" lcd car screeen, gonna pull it apart and mount it in...
now i need help finding the software to run a screensaver on the second monitor without running it on the first monitor...i wont install a second graphics card, no room... i need to do it thru extended desktop....
i have the following graphics cards at my disposal.
256mb Nvidia Geforce FX 5600Ultra
256mb ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
im willing to put either into this system to acheive the effect im looking for, the Geforce has an adapter for rca, so im leaning towards it but i havent tried anything yet
