Hi Henry ...

I posted here after checking the manual on the MO main site. The instructions there, if I'm reading them correctly, say to "solder jumper 1" and "remove jumper 2" to power with external power. At least gathering from this forum, the manual is incorrect. Jumper 2 needs to be soldered according to concensus here on the forums. Am I reading this wrong? I have soldered that pad that was discussed in this forum and entered the appropriate commands into LCDC and I now have the unit powering up at startup running off of external power, not USB power.

Yes, you are correct, the manual is currently being updated and Jumper 2 needs to be soldered. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I am ready to enable the High Power GPO power from the 3.5" floppy connector. I know I need to solder Jumper 2, but do I leave Jumper 1 in place or remove it?
