Ok do I need any modification to install a few fans to my MX212?
Also where do I install them at?

Hello...
Please refer to the following link for a pic describing the available pinouts. The only mod needed is to ensure the high powered GPO jumper is in the appropriate setting. It should be set from the factory...

When I look in the back it does not display a version...
So I whent to FrozenCPU.com and in there description the stated version 1.2
Matrix Orbital v1.2 displays are the finest custom LCDs on the market . This is a 20 character x 2 line model that fits into a single 5"1/4 bay with a surrounding black bezel and keypad. This model uses a single USB cable for data and power, so is very simple to install

You still can connect fans to GPO's 4,5,and 6. Please refer to the manual under the General Purpose Output section for instructions.

I have a 3 PIN Fan Can I still do these even though the Panel is a 2 Pin?

You still can use the fan...be sure to connect power (red) and ground (black) appropriately...!!
