(non MO) Faceplate needed

Post by Winkie »

Heya, i have one MO VFD and one plain one from Noritake Itron, your suppliers

The actual model of it is the LA LA LA

It's a 126x64 graphical module with up to 38kbps baud, so it's a nice jobby, unfortunately, I need to front mount it in my new case, and the drive bay inserts have huge holes in them, which makes them useless, the actual visible area of this unit is 83.05mm by 41.45, needing a distance of 29mm on the left side and roughly 15mm top and bottom clearance

Do MO sell such a product, or does anyone know where I could get one from?

Regards
Paul

edit to clarify: I'm looking for a black double 5.25" drive bay insert, preferably metallic, but hey, beggers can't be choosers.

Actually, if I could arrange to buy one of your dual bay inserts uncut, that would be perfect, I can file it down perfectly, or if you could refer me to who cuts them, i'm on a week's max time though, so it's tight.

Have a word with http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/product.php?subcat=29 I don't think MO can help as they are bought cut, they don't do it inhouse. Please also do not tout other manufacturers screens on a MO website.

MO are supplied by Noritake Itron if I remember correctly, my MO VFD here certainly is, so i'm not touting.

Thanks for the link.

So you think they don't compete for business? And the model you mentioned is not offered by MO, you are talking about the Bit tech deal stuff which is direct :nono:

Hmm, I wouldn't imagine there's a huge competition, considering matrix orbital offer fully decked out jobs, and NI are just a supplier, and rarely to normal people, anyway thanks for the link.
