I have... well, had... a LK202-25-WB.

Does anyone know what some symptoms of a fried display are?

When I started it up, the backlighting was lit, and all of the cells were darkened (or lit, however you'd call it). Then they turned off and only the backlight was on. I thought maybe I shorted something and flashed the EPROM by accident or something... after unplugging it all and re-connecting everything, the backlight came on and all the cells were lit again - but then as LCDC was starting up, the backlight turned off (but the cells stayed lit). Now whenever I try reconnecting, the backlight stays off and the cells stay lit, and any attempts at communicating with the LCD are unresponsive.

Please tell me I didn't just burn up my 3 day old $70 LCD

I don't want a reinactment of my poor week-old GeForce 3 that I fried last summer

Just a quick question...How did you apply power to the unit...?

I bought the power cable along with the LCD. I used it for a couple days the right way, but then when I was installing it into an empty bay in my computer, it was hard to see the power cable, and even though it felt like it was in all the way - it was backwards.

Also, I'll probably be taking you up on that offer for a new display soon. Just give me a week to get some money together. Thanks

In most cases when voltage is applied incorrectly the cost of repair outweighs ths cost of replacement...Let me know when you order the new unit and I can do the necessary paperwork...
