LK204-25 Not working??

Post by Ryanr »

Today I pulled out my dusty lcd and tryed to start working with it, but to my desmay it didn't work. When I plug it in it turns on and everything. The thing is that it all the character spaces are black boxes. Their is one thing I can do and that is turn the back light on and off, but that is it.
Thanks all.

It seems that the contrast setting is Way too high....
Try to lower it with the MO software
VFD2041-V -- System Status -- Internal
LK402-12-V -- MP3 Remote -- External
LCD2041-WB-V -- 2nd System Info -- Not installed

Hello...

Using our AlphaDemo software, available in our downloads section, try lowering the contrast. If this does not work then send text and from a 6 o'clock viewing angle, see if you can see the text...

From what you told me we can establish that the unit can communicate with the host system however a problem lies in the contrast cct. If you email me at myero@matrixorbital.com we can discuss RMA options...
