lk202-25 communication problem?

I tried my new bay-mounted lk202-25 using MOGD, Alpha Demo and LCDC.
I can connect to com2, but I cannot display any text. I've reset using pin5/6, rebooted, powered down and checked both the db9 ribbon cable and the 4br cable for continuity. None of these actions have caused the lk202-25 to work. I'd appreciate any other ideas.

Should I set the com ports to 19.2 kb? Anything else I've missed?

MOGD is for graphical displays so you should steer clear, concentrate on alpha demo. Now you say you've tried com2, you're sure that's the right com?

19.2k is right yep. What do you see on power up, lights come on and nice welcome message?

I deleted and rebuilt the com ports and it's OK now. Thanks.
