lcdc hotkey help

Post by tweak-freak »

ok I would like to setup a hotkey to turn the backlight on/off

I don't have the option of on and off both just one or the other...

Cheese told me to use the command Backlight on/off

I do that but it doesn't work?

any help?

You should be able to set up One event using one hotkey to the event "DSP->Backlight On/Off" which will toggle it (providing you have the latest version as there was a bug in .20 I think).

Backlight OFF actually works if i trigger it w/ a keypad press, but it wont if i trigger it w/ an on_finish event ... its very weird ... backlight intensity has no effect in the lcdc configuration (tried it coz i thought intensity 100% in the config was actually the problem for my on finish event ... making it bright whenevr lcdc was on) .... that backlight problem is probably more a problem for mat to solve though...

I noticed something i hadnt seen b4 on my LCD .... maybe its me but i think its getting black on the right side where the led is ... cant see the led from where i am since its mounted into my comp but i dont think that black patch was there ... still works though

The GLK at present does not have back light intensity capabilities, only on/off. I have an event "SYS->On Finish" "DSP->Backlight Off" which works correctly
