I am the proud new father of an LK202-24-USB. and im anxious to wire this thing up to my PC... only one problem. my legacy free board does not have any COM ports (thats why i waited for USB support...). It therefore lacks the ability to add a virtual com port.. im stuck. if anyone knows of some way to add a com port, or of software that can treat the LK202 as a purley USB device id be anxious to know.

Legacy free nightmare(LK202-USB)!!!
course!
it cant create a virtual com port because there are no com ports in the first place. i think the drivers have to be there at all for a virtual port to be created. having no actual com ports the system just says "The hardware cannot install because the wizard cannot find the nessesary software" i tried going to the site that makes the chips in the first place, their software does not work either.
