i want one of those displays but if i have to buy a serial one i have to get a usb converter to serial, and i rather have a direct usb instead would save me a lot of trouble

this will not happen for some time (if ever on those two models) the main use of these graphic units is industrial and microprocessor. We will be making our own USB to Serial converter in the near future which wil not be that expencive and will work with most of our units just fine...
