Unit: LCD2041-WB-V
Software: LCDC
Case: Clear Acrylic PC
Difficulty: Easy
Other: I always loved the look of a clear PC, so I decided to do one. I used the LCD2041 to display weather, Winamp, memory usage and network traffic, processor speed, and system uptime. Also, notice the yellow ground wire running to all of the components. Something not too many people realize is that an acrylic PC case offers no grounding, and can be very dangerous if the components are not grounded like they are when installed in a metal case that has been grounded to the power supply. Just a little side note.

Also, the DVD-ROM has been custom painted, and the top cut out so you can see the disc spin - although it needs an LED to light the spinning disc.
Not a sales pitch by any means, but if you like this case, you might take a look at it on ebay - the fun for me is building them and then I like to move on.
