Hello I was wondering what the purpose of the 4x4 keypad would be... I would like to use it as an interface to control the GPO's on my LK204. I would like to be able to activated light modules, LED arrays and cold cathode tubes with the keypad.
The answer is yes and no... Yes in terms of that it used to interface with the LCD but no in terms of it tuning on/off GPO's etc... The keypad will send the keypress information down the rs232 line back to the PC, therefore with the correct software you CAN do the kind of things you have just said. e.g. Within LCDC you would setup an Event "SYS->On Keypad Press" with an Action of "GPO->Toggle GPO" or something to do what you want.
