Question about LCDC

I have a MO VK204-25 VFD display and for some reason when LCDC displays anything you can see the curser flying all over the display updating it. When i use Smartie it doesn't do this.... is there a setting that i have wrong? Thanks!!

This is a clasic RTF question

How do I get rid of the cursor block/line?
Create an event as follows:-
Event "Sys->On Start"
Event parameters "" (none availabe)
Action "Dsp->Process Commands"
Action parameters "CursorBlinkingBlockOff,CursorUnderlineOff"
