And wanted to say how surprised I was at how fast it arrived. Under two days from Canada to Dallas.

I'm busy now mounting it in a sheet of clear plastic the size of two drive bays, and placing it in my machine. With the blue neon, that should shine through nice. Any advice to give to a newbie on LCD usage?

I'll be publishing a guide to using the nk in a couple of days at bit-tech.net, for now the best advice I can give you is LCDC. LCDC, umm that's all

Im tempted to get a NK204-V LCD after reading the review on bit-tech, but i was just wondering if it would be possible at all to mount it in my two spare fdd bays? i had a quick look at the sizes and it dosnt seem to far off. my case is a silverDragon DX-01SLD.

cheers.

i don't have the nk any more (easy come, easy go!) but I did hold it up quickly and the pcb is ever so slightly bigger than two floppy bays I think. This doesn't mean you can't do it mind...

Most cases have a gap between the floppy bays and the 5.25"'s - you'll probably have to make some room (dremel out a little bit of the internal drive cage) if it's not removable, but that's not too hard
