LKVK402-25 commands not accepted

Hello,

I am trying to configure an LKVK402-25 screen using an rs232 connection. I am able to turn the unit on and see the starting logo. When I try and clear the screen nothing happens. I have followed the thread that tells to boot with the C1 and R5 pins shorted and send the default baud rate command as 19200. I am able to see the version number and the serial number but the module number comes back with "". When I upload the clear screen command I see the acknowledgement window with no errors but the logo is still all that there is on the screen. When I adjust the contrast or the brightness I am seeing jumbled characters making me thing the baud rate is still incorrect.

Hello Patrick,

Thank you for posting on the forum.
It does sound like a baud rate mismatch.
Try to leave the jumper on R5 C1 and cycle the power.

When I cycle the power the pins jumpered I am able to clear the screen. I then hit set the baud rate to 19200 with the pins jumpered to reset the baud rate, turn off the power and remove the jumpers, and turn the power back on and I am getting the same results.

Hello Patrick,

While you have manual override on, please use this instruction for changing the baud rate:

The baud rate button (in Main tab) of uProjet no longer works with the (newer) displays like the LK402-25.
