GLK12232-25-FGW Problem with keyboard

Post by winter »

Hi,

I have replaced an GLK12232-25-WBL with an GLK12232-25-FGW display and have the following problem:

The keycode sent from the display is not the same every keypress. First I tried to increase the debounce time but it has no effect. I have also tried to use different keypads but also with no change in behavior.

I am quite sure I have connected the keypad correctly and I have also tried to simply short two keypad connectors at the time. This is also giving the same result.

When I change back to the GLK12232-25-WBL everything works as before i.e. correct keycode is sent every keypress for all the different keypads and simple short circuit.

The unit I have tested is an Rev3.0(FW) with number 2008081075.

Regards,

Tomas

Could it be you have set up your new unit to send Key Up/Down messages while the old unit was setup to only send a single keypress?

No, this is not it.

The keycodes are different and if this was activated I should see two keycodes which is same for every time i press and release the button I guess?

If you press the same key a couple of times what results are you getting back from the display? and what results are you seeing from the old unit when you press that same button?
