I have Vista Ultimate x64 installed and I downloaded the 64 Vista drivers from
http://www.matrixorbital.ca/drivers/
I can not install the drivers direct from the INF files as it says "The INF you have selected does not support this type of installation"
Going into device manager and doing an update driver, I browse to the downloaded files and select the folder only to get the attached screen shot.
Am I missing something here ??

It is correct you cannot install by right clicking the inf and installing it but you must go through the device manager.
Did you extract the complete zipfile to the folder you specified or did you only put the inf files in there?
If you did extract all files to a single folder and it still complains can you email me a copy of your setupapi.app and setupapi.dev located in c:\windows\inf

This might be what I was missing. I unzipped all the files to one folder and pointed the driver installation towards this folder (ending up with the screenie above)Ray wrote:Did you extract the complete zipfile to the folder you specified or did you only put the inf files in there?
At work so unable to check those files at the minute but was I supposed to copy these files to a specific directory or just all into the same one ?
