Wrong character set table in LCD0821 rev. 2.0

I recently purchased 6 LCD0821-GW rev 2.0. (1 week ago)
And according to the manual the character set table
should be european, but instead it was japanese.

I live in Sweden and really would need the european characters.
Is it possible to re-write the character set table?
