Now that the release date has been pushed back to March, I was wondering if you could post any info on the GX Typhoon unit.
What software is it going to use? Lcdc or perhaps somthing new?
What kind of things will this unit be capable of doing?
Full motion graphics?
What resolution?
keyboad compatible?
MS Media Center / Vista compatible?
Any pictures or videos of an actual unit?
Additional colors?
I have been staring at the "Coming January 2007" for a while and I can't wait to see what kind of things this unit can do?

I have been staring at the "Coming January 2007" for a while and I can't wait to see what kind of things this unit can do? I can't wait for it to be out too, it's a very exciting product! It's been years in development and I think we will blow the socks off everyone
The software is aimed at graphical displays so the textmode displays just can't handle it, the GLK/GLC Series could be supported but you are taking a severe framerate hit on those since they have 115k2 bandwidth at most while the GX being a full speed usb device gives you a maximum of 12Mbit.

No, the typhoon will be USB only, but we re releasing a GLK24064-16-1U which is the same size (the share the display) as the Typhoon in a week or two, and that display will be USB and I2C.
