Anyone tried to mod a PK202-24 USB into a 3.5" Lian Li

Post by YYZ »

All my large bays are used up and I only have a free un-moded 3.5 bay left.
I've got an older model PC82COM (same as 6x or 7x) case and this green PLED would go fantastic with my green CCFL (AMD) themed X2 machine :).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or experience tips.

I might ask for this unit for X-mas !

Thank you for posting on Matrix Orbital's Forum.

The PK202-24-USB is an excellent choice! Our PLED's bring new and exciting diode technology, which are self-luminous displays that do not require backlighting. This means that the display uses much less power than a traditional LCD or VFD and has the added benefit of a 160 degree viewing angle! The PK202 is very thin, lightweight and compact which can be used in a myriad of applications.

If you manage to ever free up another bay, I would recommend taking a look at our MX6 series. Unfortunatley it only comes as a 5 1/4 bay inserts, but I'll give you the lowdown on the MX6. With all of our MX6 products, you have the choice of either beige with keypad, black with keypad, brushed aluminum or black aluminum with no keypad.

Our bay inserts are a low weight, high quality product. They will stand up to everyday wear-and-tear, as the mounting bracket is made of rust-resistant coated steel. The MX6 also allows you to plug 3 fans and 4 temperature probes directly into the back of the unit for all your quiet and cooling PC needs. Includes everything you will need to get going:

* PK204-24-USB Display
* 7-key Beige PC Bay Insert (B202A)
* 3ft USB cable
* Mounting screws
* Full copy of LCDC

If you have any other questions, please dont hesitate to ask! If you would like to see some reviews on the MX6, please visit any of the links below. Thaks again for your intrest in Matrix Orbital.
