VFd MX5 serie 204-24 usb instalation problem

Hello.
I have just got my MX5 204-24 VFD display. but some how I cant get it to install.

I have tryed all the windows Xp usb drivers for the Mx but get the same error everytime. I get that far so I say yes to install the drivers, and it installs but its not a good install . I got this message on the instalation window.

"it turned-up a problem under the instalation of this hardware, Matrix Orbital Mx4/Mx5 USB driver"

" this hardware cannot start : code 10"

please help ok, does anyone now wat this mean. is the VFD broke ??

Hi Tommy,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

Do you have any other conflicting drivers shown in device manager? This will cause problems when installing the driver.

Hi again.

It`s working now

the problem was that I had modified the floppy cable.

I tok away the 5 v cable from it.

and why you ask, I wanted to have the display in a little abs box and therefor I had to modifie the cable. But I manage to work around it so now i using both og the cables.
So now its working, greate
