How many amps and volts does the mx5 draw?
I noticed on the main site it says 25v, if its drawing power from the 12v line how is this possible?

The 12V supply is strictly for the high power GPOs, and it doesn't play any role in powering the display. However, the display uses the 5V line from the power supply for the inrush current. The displays needs approximately 0.5A inrush current to turn on the display. It's like a starter starting up the engine for your car.
