HT400 and Motrix Orbital
HT400 and Motrix Orbital
I want to get an HT400 HTPC case, and I want to replace the iMON with one of hte Matrix orbital. My question is which one will fit or will they fit at all?
This is the case I'm looking at...
http://www.arisetec.com/products/HT-400.htm
There is no true 5 1/4 spot on the case.
what I want to do is REPLACE the VFD already in the case with a Matrix. What is going to fit in the space where hte EXISTING VFD is right now.
Also, I'm not going to cut up the case to make one fit.... it needs to fit in the stock/existing location.

I took a look at the case in question, and the VK162-12-V would be right unit,

for communication you will want a serial cable or for nicer look a -4BR cable and a 1ft serial cable, also a 12V power cable.

anything else, let us know.

Hi Phil,
Thank you for posting.
It will depend on what you want included in your VFD. If you are using the unit for just display purposes, then a VFD2041 would be sufficient. If you wanted something with keypad support, and gpos for devices like LEDs, then I would go with the VK204-25. If you want a VFD to communicate via USB, sense temperature, control higher power devices like fans, and control of low power indicators, then I would go with the VK204-24-USB.
