Highest contrast lcd?

Which color LCD offers the highest contrast between the characters and the background? I need a 4 line display that is powered by the USB connector only so, a VFD is out of the question. This LCD will be at a distance so I need characters that are going to stand out.

The white on blue display has the best contrast.
