URGENT: 267 Sensors found ??????????????

Hello !

I have a Matrix Orbital MX2 and have 4 temp sensors connected.

The display showed me all temperatures normally.
But now I do not get any temperature values.

If I scan for the sensors, LCDC finds 267 new sensors.

Also if I reinstall my system from cratch.
Just WindowsXP is installed, the drivers and LCDC.

Hardware failure ?

Hello !

I found the problem, but post the answer here for other users (so if anybody else will have the same problem, he knows what to do).

It was one sensor, that seems to be damaged.

I disconnected all sensors.
Then I connected only ONE sensor, it was found ba the auto detection.
Then I disconnected the sensor and connected the next one.
Also detectec by auto detection.

The 3rd was not found (there LCDC found 267 sensors).

If I connect all 3 sensors, that are working, LCDC detects 3 sensors and everything is fine !

Thank you for the post and I'm glad everything worked out...!!! When LCDC scans the bus for devices and the amount of devices found is more than the physical connection, then the problem is directly related to the temperature probe. Please contact me at myero@matrixorbital.ca and we can work out the details for you to receive a new temperature probe!!!
