Hi !

Here have I tested my LK202-25 with the software "LCD Tester"... No problem during a moment: I was able to display bar graph, clear screen, set start text...
But now, it doesn't work... Only the start text is OK. Then when I want to clear screen, a black case appears on the character. Other example, when I change the contrast, I have some other black cases which appear on LCD screen...

Do you know why ? Is it possible to reset the module ?

I've tested with MS Window Hyperterm to display characters on the screen... Same problem, I can't see them on the LCD screen...

Can you try and perform a manual override...? It sounds like your baud rate got changed...

1. Unpower the module.
2. Place a jumper on pins 5 and 6 of the keypad connector.
3. Power the module up with the jumper still attached.
4. Set your test software to 19200 baud and try communication.

If this works, unpower the module, take the jumper off and power it back on. Once you have done this, try communicating again and let me know the results!
