LK204-24-USB? Can i power it as an MX212 from a USB cable?

Ok if i am not mistaken i am about to order(as soon as they get them in in kustompcs.co.uk) the 4 line USB lcds with blue background and white text LCDs...

I am the owner of the MX 212 at the moment with the same colours etc and i need a 4 line lcd just to improve my rigs looks.

My MX212 is powered just by its USB cable.its the rev 1 i guess since it has no temp sensor or fan headers on its pcb...

I have noticed the LK204-24-USB?dunno if thats the model of the 4 line LCD i am talking about is USB and it also has a floppy power connector.

Will i be able to power my LCD just by its USB cable as my MX212 or will i have to use the floppy power connector?i am NOT gonna connect any temp or fans on the LCD itself.

Yes, you can power the LK204-24-USB with just a USB cable...The unmodified floppy power connection is to supply 12 Volts to the high powered GPO's...
