LK204-24-USB vs. MX4

Post by traintrax »

A couple of quick questions before I buy the LK204-24-USB.

Will the MX4 ever see the light of day? :P

Will the keyboard faceplate be available in silver?

If not, is there any reason not to buy the LK204-24-USB since I am putting it in a silver case?

Thanks - Neil

The MX4 will see the light of day. We should be getting samples today and then hopefully if they work they will be for sale next week.

There will be no keypad available in Aluminum. Only Black and Beige.

No silver makes my choice easier. One more question. I see most of the people using character based LCD for PC's. Why not the graphical ones? Are they not supported in LCDC?

Thanks - Neil

Some displays are supported, but LCDC just maps a text-based interface onto it. There are very few programs that can properly display graphical information on such displays.

Graphical LCD require a totally different type of software which is more complex... so far all of our resources have been geared at alpha numeric, but this will change in the upcoming future :geek:
