Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I had tested out your suggestions, but then promptly forgot to post the results.

I've basically given up on GPO3. If it's connected, I have all sorts of problems. Doesn't matter if it's connected to a generic .25a fan or my bad boy Panaflo .45a fans ...

I sent you an email just after you posted this... but haven't heard anything from you. *shrug*

Was playing with this a bit more... and I found something odd on the power outputs:

Black = ground (no problems)
Red = line voltage (should be 12v or 5v) - but there's NO power on this line
Yellow = RPM sensor - getting 5v out of it.

Why am I seeing 5v on yellow, which should be dead? Or am I ...

I recently purchased an LX204-24-USB. The GPO headers for the fans are outputting 5v. Nothing I do changes this output voltage.

If I switch the jumper that's intended for 12v operation, the unit locks up and begins to overheat (yes, overheat!) .

Why can I not get 12v out of this unit? I need to ...
