So besides the power difference, what are the differences between PLED and VFD? I have an MO VFD display in one of my boxes currently, and was looking for another computer.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the three different types of displays?

Okay, not to be a dumbass, but where on that picture should I be checking the voltage across. I understand how a multimeter works, but I am not the best with electronic components

Okay, I finally tracked down a multimeter. What voltage should I be getting before and after the regulator. And if you don't mind Henry, could you post a picture showing where you want me to check.

It is a wide voltage model (from the AVS buy). I am using the power connector I purchased from MO, with the yellow and the black leads.

I have the serial port enabled in the BIOS. Nothing at all comes up when I boot the computer. The screen just stays dark.
