Is there any way to convert the LK204-25-WB-VPT's serial I/O to USB :-? ?

I was going to order an LK204-25-WB-VPT, but now that I've read that the USB version is on the way... Is the LK204-25-USB worth the wait, or can I go on and buy the LK204-25-WB-VPT? Any suggestions?
