Ok. I've been researchin LCD's for the past couple days and I'm stumped on which one to get. I'll say what are the major influences in my decision:
1. Price
2. Must be blue backlight
3. PC Bay Insert (probably just taking up one bay)
Uses I would like:
1. CPU Temps.
2. Bandwidth Profiler.
3. CPU, MEM, and Disk usage.
4. Winamp Info (Scrolling Songs)
5. Email notify
6. Clock
I've looked at the BLK202A-WB-4BR-BK ($112) and the BLC2021-WB ($92). Is the only difference between these two LCD's the fact that one has a keypad and the other doesn't? Is the keypad really necessary? Don't you enter all the information through software?? Also, anyone know where to get these for cheaper? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

1. You get what you pay for

2. the Inver Blue look really nice.
3. BLK202A or BLC2021
The software, well, LCDC is the most advanced software out there, it can do more then all the other software combined, and then some. Don't let any one tell you that any other software is even CLOSE to LCDC. LCDC has 20+ plugins, 5+ in development, Large digits, even a binary clock

it uses screen transitions and bargraphs... it's an amazing program.
Check this thread out.

Yes, one has a keypad, the other ones doesn't... the keypad is nice, it allows you to do allot, like changes screens, or turn up and down the volume, play, pause M3s and more...

two line isn't bad..
check this video out, it will show you the cool transitions LCDC does...

it's all in what you want, or plan on using really... if you wait a week or so, the new USB 2x20 with keypad will be in... and allot of advanced features like being able to connect 12V fans dirrectly to the LCD, making a digital baybus with LCDC...

$99.95, it wil be USB, come in beige keypad, black keypad or REAL aluminum over lay, and it will come with LCDC... it will be in yellow/green backlight, inverse blue, inverse red, inverse yellow and gray/white. Take a look at the LK202-25 product page, those will be the colors...

Sounds sweet!!! When you say it will be in?? I want to have it by Xmas. You think that will be possible? So it's just like the BLK202A-WB-4BR-BK only USB? AND it comes with the software!?!?

Henry, since it's powered by the USB does that mean you can't use the GOP's? Or can you power it by USB OR from the PSU?

Indeed you can! If you want to use its three 12V high power GPO's you plug a normally floppy power cable in the back and change a jumper on the back
For the noral GPO's (5V) you can just use USB power.
Rob.
p.s. Colour wise,
Red's the best

Keep an eye on the forum, and for the color, like I said, check the LK202-25 product page...

That's the 2x20, and has all the good stuff all ready and then some, not sure when the VFD will come...
